Guest Ratings & Reviews
The hotel is conveniently located right off the highway with free parking, making it a handy stop for travelers passing through Belgium. The rooms are spacious with a small balcony, although they appear a bit dated, they were clean and had comfortable beds. The friendly staff were helpful, but the presence of a building site nearby was slightly off-putting. The dining experience was good overall, with local dishes served in the traditional Van der Valk style.
My stay at the hotel was pleasant overall. While the rooms weren't as nice as expected after seeing the bar, restaurant, and reception, they were spotless, comfortable, and had everything I needed, including a proper coffee machine. I look forward to my next stay in a renovated room mainly because of the hotel's proximity to the expressway.
The hotel rooms are old and tired, but spacious. The food in the bistro was delicious albeit overpriced. The swimming pool and bathroom need renovating; the location is convenient near transportation options.
The hotel offers fairly large, modern, clean, and comfortable rooms with wide balcony doors that can be opened wide with a little effort but need renovating. The oppressive heat made the A/C essential. The service is very polite and welcoming, though navigating the construction site to reach the hotel could be confusing. The location is great, though slightly limited. Dining options needed additional purchases and were pricier compared to other places, but the in-room coffee machine was a nice touch.
